Walk With Me - February 15, 2021

Updated: Aug 23, 2021

Images and words from my walks and interactions with nature and the environment.

Walking and talking with a close friend at dusk

along the edge of a turning tide

multitudinous clouds expand outward from a glowing nucleus

cautiously negotiating unpredictable lashes of surf, uneven levels between sand and stones

the foci of both conversation and seascape shift rapidly between moods and states

from grief to dancing

isolation to connection

darkness to light

movement to stillness

zooming in on the personal in each others eyes

zooming out to ocean, clouds and the eye in the sky

tracking the unfolding transformation as the sun slips away

dissolving

bleeding its glow

our conversation through this morphing ocean-scape senses its reflection all around

an ocean of mourning and hope

how tiny the fragment of shell lodged between stones

how gigantic the black clouds looming

how unfathomable the turbulent waters

how serene the horizon

how volatile the shore

moment to moment

step by step
