Images and words from my walks and interactions with nature and the environment.
The heavens were cooking up another storm tonight, with more rain forecast tomorrow. Such color transformations during my hour long walk at sunset, with a forceful incoming tide determind to catch me unaware. Hiding behind layers of cloud, the sun orchestrated a synphony of diagonal bands of salmon pink, orange and yellows, with intricate patterns woven in deep, just above the horizon. Bold horizontal stripes of gray cloud formations maintained a strong contrast throughout this performance of light and colored rays. Bubbles and streaks of foaming surf and tide raced hungrily up the beach, smothering rocks and stones and everything in their path, including me. A very wet walk.
