Words and images from my walks and interactions with nature and the environment.

Walking along the shoreline at sunset these words from John Philip Newell come to mind:

"We come into the world by passing through water. In Celtic wisdom water connects us to the Womb from which all things have come. This is why the shoreline, a liminal place, features in so much Cletic myth and legend. It is a place where land and sea meet, where the soil of our habitation and the primeval waters of our beginnings kiss.It is the meeting place between the known and the unknown, the conscious and the unconscious, the temporal and the eternal"

Sacred Earth, Sacred Soul / John Philip Newell
